Frank Morrison is A self-taught artist, he began his career as a pre-adolescent graffiti artist.  As a member of a break-dancing crew, while touring Europe, he visited the Louvre museum in Paris and was inspired to choose painting as a career. His work is steeped in old world values of family, community and religion though typically rendered with mirth and high-spiritedness.  I just love this image/painting. The generation of mother and daughter, the empowerment really warms my heart.

First, I made a placeholder for my first sphere using vertical strokes. The second sphere I painted the same sphere, using a different technique. using smoother brush strokes.    Next, I glazed the 2nd sphere using red acrylic paint and water. And painted the background yellow for the purple lowkey sphere. Finally, I used violet acrylic paint on the background and yellow on bottom. And on the last sphere I used highkey hues to form an analogous sphere.
