This painting is an analogous painting using warm colors such as red, orange and yellow. First I did the under painting and decided what colors will really make the fruit pop out. Finally, to make the branches appear closer I highlighted the branches closer and made the branches further behind darker. I also glaze the background with yellow.
My Blog will follow my progress on painting throughout the semester. It will focus on the usage of color, different techniques and brush strokes. You will see basic problems and still life paintings. It will show the various step taken, to resolve the problem in front of me.
